Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The article must be presented in Microsoft Word format or RTF provided that it does not exceed 2MB.
- The identification of the article’s author must be removed from the file and the Properties option in Microsoft Word.
- Authors must adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) standards.
- By being responsible for the content of the article submitted to the journal, the author authorizes its publication.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
- Anything that is not a table will be considered a figure. Examples: drawing, diagram, flowchart, photograph, graph, map, organizational chart, plan, chart, portrait, figure, image, among others. And tables "display exact numerical values, and data are neatly arranged in rows and columns, facilitating their comparison" (APA, 2001, p. 133).

The initiative for the development of a ‘Point-Counterpoint’ may come from the editors, the journal’s editorial board, or through an informal proposal from authors to the editors. On receiving such a proposal, the editors will evaluate the proposal and, if it is approved, will ask for a more formal proposal which describes the relevance, scope and contribution of the debate, including the different positions of the respective authors on the issue or topic and the proposed outcome of the debate.
Privacy Statement
- The content of the articles published in the International Journal of Sustainability and Multidisciplinary Research (IJSMR) is the sole responsibility of the authors. The total or partial reproduction of article content is permitted, provided that the source is properly cited.
- Articles containing plagiarism will be rejected, and any author found to have engaged in plagiarism will forfeit their right to publish in this journal.
- The names and addresses provided in this journal will be used exclusively for the services related to this publication and will not be shared with third parties or used for other purposes.
- Upon submission, authors transfer the copyright of their articles to IJSMR. If an author wishes to withdraw their submission, they have the right to request that the article not be published. However, this request must be made within two months prior to the publication of the issue in which the article is scheduled to appear.
